HT-SAAE a ‘Top Performer’ in PVEL’s ‘2020 PV Module Reliability Scorecard’

HT-SAAE is rankded 6th in the ‘2020 PV Module Reliability Scorecard’ report. This is undertaken each year by PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), in partnership with DNV GL, has continued to raise questions over key aspects of module reliability.

In early January, HT-SAAE dual glass solar module obtained Class A certification for fire prevention. Recently, our single glass solar module has also passed the Class A fire prevention test. A testimony to the quality of our panels.

The most severe test in accordance with the UL 790 standard is the burning block test, which requires placing a fuel block on the module and burning it, reaching about 880 degrees Celsius. The standard for passing the test is that no component can fall off the test platform until the block has completely burned.

HT-SAAE’s single glass solar module passed the Class A fire test in accordance with the IEC 61730 standard, avoiding secondary combustion, effectively preventing the spread of flames and smoke.
